MILOU – A complete archiving and monitoring system

MILOU is a computerised monitoring system for foetal and maternal physiology that enables cardiotocographic data from connected CTG equipment, and ST information from STAN S 21 and S 31, to be displayed and eventually archived. Other available monitoring parameters such as blood pressure and pulsoximetry are also handled by the system. The system allows monitoring of multiple CTG recordings at the same time at several workstations. Completed CTG recordings are stored centrally in a database.

Great care has been taken to produce a user-friendly system. After a brief introduction, the user should therefore be able to use the system without constantly having to consult the user manual or technical personnel.

MEDEXA has been rewarded the IT-price of the Swedish Healthcare 2009 for the MILOU system in the category Medical technology solutions, a price issued by the journals Dagens Medicin and Computer Sweden.
